Realizing the need for greater knowledge in the new field of diamonds Keith commenced study through the Gemmological Institute of America achieving his certification for diamond grading in 1981. He them completed the coloured gem stone course in 1982.

A major portion of the business is Australian fancy coloured diamonds, predominantly the world renowned Argyle Pink Diamond.
